Student Finance
All 16-18 Sixth Form Bursary Applications have to be received in the Finance Office by 30th September of the academic year support is requested for. Eg 30th September 2018 for the 2018-2019 academic year.
There are varying types of financial support available to students who choose to stay in education after completing their GCSEs. The following are available:
- 16-19 Bursary Fund
- dance and drama awards
- help with transport costs
- help if you're studying away from home
The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund provides financial assistance to those students who are eligible and aged between 16-19 to support their further education. Students should apply directly to the school using the documents provided on this page. Two types of fund are available:
- a bursary of £1200
- a discretionary fund
Our talented students have a range of grants available to them, a few of which are listed below:
- Awards for Young Musicians allows students to apply for a grant ranging from £100 up to £2000 to support students’ musical education Awards for Young Musicians
- TASS awards are accessible to elite Sports students who are aged 18 and over and competing at either National or International Level. Successful applicants are able to receive a tailored package of service worth up to £3,500 in value. Further information is available via the website TASS
