Authorised Absence Requests for University Open Days & Post-18 Events
Pupils are permitted up to 3 authorised absence days during the academic year to attend university open days or other post-18 education and career events. To request authorisation, students must complete the absence request form and upload proof of attendance, such as a screenshot of the confirmation email showing their name and event dates. We strongly encourage students to attend these events during weekends or school holidays wherever possible to minimise disruption to learning. Any additional days beyond the 3 authorised will be recorded as unauthorised absence in line with school policy.
