Finance

The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund provides financial assistance to those pupils who are eligible and aged between 16-19 to support their further education. Pupils should apply directly to the school using the documents provided on this page.

Two types of fund are available:

  • bursaries for defined vulnerable groups
  • discretionary bursary

Both types of bursary funding are designed to help pupils overcome the individual financial barriers to participation that they face, and institutions must ensure the funds go to those who genuinely need them. No pupil should automatically be awarded a set amount of funding without an assessment of the level of financial need they have.

To apply for the 16-19 Bursary Fund please use the St Peter’s Sixth Form 16-19 Bursary Fund Statement found below.

Our talented pupils also have a range of grants available to them, two of which are listed below:

  • Awards for Young Musicians allows pupils to apply for a grant to support pupils’ musical education Awards for Young Musicians
  • TASS awards are accessible to elite Sports pupils who are aged 16 and over and competing at either National or International Level. Further information is available via the website TASS

If you have any questions or queries, please ask your Form Tutor or visit the School Finance Office next to the Sixth Form Common Room or the Dr Aslam Assistant Headteacher.
