  • Admissions

We are delighted to welcome applications from all students who wish to join St Peter’s Catholic School Sixth Form, whether they are currently studying at St Peter’s or attending another school. Thank you for considering our Sixth Form community, where high academic expectations are matched by exceptional pastoral care within a supportive and nurturing Catholic environment.

Admission to the Sixth Form is subject to meeting our minimum entry requirements, namely five GCSE passes at Grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics. In addition, individual subjects have their own specific entry criteria, which applicants must also satisfy.

We strongly encourage all prospective students and their families to attend our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 12 November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to meet members of staff and current Sixth Form students, explore our facilities, discover the wide range of opportunities available, and gain a real insight into life at St Peter’s Sixth Form. We look forward to answering any questions you may have and helping you make an informed decision about your post-16 education.

We look forward to supporting you as you take the next step in your educational journey and hope to welcome you to the St Peter’s Sixth Form community in September 2027.

Once your application has been received and processed, applicants will be invited to attend an interview on Tuesday 23 March 2027. Interview invitation letters will be sent in February 2027. All St Peter’s pupils will also take part in an Independent Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) interview with our Careers Adviser. We strongly encourage pupils to consider all post-16 pathways carefully and choose the option that is right for their individual aspirations, interests and circumstances.

The application form asks prospective students to provide their provisional course choices. We understand that interests and plans can change over time; therefore, these choices are intended to give us an indication of likely demand rather than represent final decisions. Full details of our courses and entry requirements can be found on the Sixth Form section of our website Sixth Form page on the school website found here.

Should you have any questions before the interview evenings in March 2027 then you are welcome to get in touch. We look forward to receiving your application.

If you have applied for our Sixth Form and have not yet been given an interview date, please email the school office on: office@st-peters.solihull.sch.uk to let us know.  Many thanks.
