GCSE Class of 2023

We always celebrated the successes of our pupils, a massive congratulations to the class of 2023 for an outstanding set of results. This year was always going to be a challenge, the first exams with full content and no indication from the examination boards regarding subject materials or grade boundaries. Our pupils show great resilience, character, and maturity.

Some headlines:

  • 21% of our pupils achieved a 7+ in English and Maths
  • 66% of our pupils achieved a 5+ in English and Maths
  • 84% of our pupils achieved a 4+ in English and Maths

Subject successes include RE, Maths, English and Sociology who all performed well above national averages.

As a Catholic school we are extremely proud of our RE department who once again showed strength and perseverance and outperformed last year’s results. 48% of our pupils achieved a 7+ in RE. The Catholic ethos is a central element to our foundation, and we are grateful for the brilliant work our RE department does preparing our pupils for this important examination.

St Peter’s are delighted to announce their A Level results for 2023.

We are all so proud of our 2023 cohort who have experienced challenging academic years following the disruption to their GCSEs due to COVID-19. Our pupils have shown amazing resilience and maturity in overcoming these difficulties which have been put before them. Our staff have worked tirelessly to ensure all our pupils were fully prepared for the summer public examinations and this hard work and dedication is evident in some excellent results.

These are our headlines:

  • 32% of the exam grades across all ‘A’ level and BTEC subjects were at A*-A.
  • 59% of all exam grades across all ‘A’ level and BTEC subjects were at A*- B.
