Passport

• Please ensure that the passport meets the following validity requirements:
  • For passport holders: have an ‘expiry date’ at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave Iceland.

GHIC

• In addition, if your child does not currently hold a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC), we kindly ask that you apply for one as soon as possible. This card entitles your child to necessary healthcare while abroad and can be applied for free via the official NHS website:
